NVACS 4.NF.A.1 Build fractions from unit fractions by applying and extending previous understandings of operations on whole numbers and understand decimal notation for fractions, and compare decimal fractions The materials included in this project would allow my self contained SLD class more resources and learning manipulatives to bridge the gap of their current academic level to where they need to be. Number discs and fraction discs would be of great help for my students to be able to visualize our math concepts. Small whiteboard would be of use when dividing my class into groups of different levels and of course a printer would allow me to print differentiated worksheets that would best suit the needs of my students. All these materials that will be funded will help improve all the student's learning that wasn't addressed appropriately during the distance learning due to COVID 19.
