Students today and more anxious and hurting than ever before. Group work can be an effective method to motivate students, encourage active learning, and develop key critical thinking, communication, and decision-making skills. But without careful planning and facilitation, group work can frustrate students and instructors and feel like a waste of time. Sadly, the group curriculum that was available to our students was destroyed last year and we need to obtain new materials. The materials requested will provide the needed curriculum to help students process and heal. Age-appropriate and timely group counseling curriculum help the group experience be positive and beneficial for students aiding in their ability to focus on learning.
