As a Special Education teacher, I utilize social-emotinonal learning (SEL) practices to help teach my student with strategies to self-regulate inside our classroom and in the school setting. My little learners have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disoder. They interact with the world differently but every day show me that they have an amazing mind. The tools in my project will allow me to continue to reach and feed their interest using sensory toys, a color printer to make take home projects to carry-over the strategies in the classroom, and the tools I need to be successful in my classroom.
