Many of the materials I chose, such as the headphones and the projector, have become essential for learning in a post-COVID-19 world. The current projector we have is old and makes it difficult to view anything, and the students usually spend more time just trying to see or read whatever is displayed than they normally would with a decent projector. The headphones especially have become such an issue as of late because many children who had no reason for owning their own headphones before are now required to have fully functioning headphones with microphones for daily assignments. I also want to promote learning without requiring materials to be passed around the classroom as to limit exposure, which is why I have requested materials such as larger post-it pads and markers, so that we have content large enough for the whole classroom to read instead of smaller items that would need to be passed around.
