As per state mandate and school district mandate, students are to wear face masks. Many do not have correctly fitting face masks. Teachers only have adult sized masks to offer students. To ensure safety for all students and staff, a proper fitting face mask is essential. Middle school students come in all sizes and adult masks are not appropriate for every student. Well fitting masks will provide a safe learning environment for all. In addition they will reduce stress on students whose families cannot afford to get multiple sized masks for their households.
