Since returning to the building I am trying to engage my students as much as possible. In the studio we spend a lot of time working on meaningful art projects, getting to know one another better, and increase their social skills by encouraging them to work together daily. Right now my higher-level students are not feeling pushed enough. They would like to explore other avenues of art-making. The watercolor sets aprons, collage paper, and paper-making will help them make their projects look more finished and professional when they are done. My classroom is a place where kids can be themselves and work together to make beautiful art.
