The students will be able to use the nonfiction books to increase their knowledge of the outside world. Students will have a better understanding of nonfiction text and text feature to help with comprehension. RI.K.3 Students will work with partners to increase verbal and listening skills using vocabulary featured in the nonfiction text. RI.K.4 and SL.K.1 Students will participate in the interactive centers in a small group setting to increase engagement and understanding of phonics and story structure. RL.K.2 and RF.K.3 .
