Each of the listed resources is part of a plan to foster more engagement around discussion, literacy, and individual achievement. Since returning to an in-person classroom environment after 16 months of virtual learning, students have been clamoring for interaction and connection. The games will be a part of a whole-class class reward system where students engage in a team-building activity. In my English and Reading classroom, students will use their speaking and listening skills as they connect and bond with their classmates. By donating to our project, you will not only support student collaboration and communication, but you will also help my students feel seen, valued, and connected to their fellow classmates. As a foundational part of the classroom library, the selected books will serve to encourage increased literacy and personal connections to literature that so many students missed during their time away from their classrooms. The delicious snacks are part of my class reward system to get students excited about engaging every single day. RL.7.10 SL.7.1 SL.7.6
