I would like to submit a proposal to grow my classroom library. Student book preferences are growing rapidly, and with the inclusion of a ELA free reading assignment that I am piloting this year, I am currently running low on the newest and more popular titles. Students have gradually become voracious readers during the pandemic, and I would love to continue this momentum. Each novel in my shopping cart has been picked by the students in my classes, and their recommendations came with passionate explanations regarding how these books provided them with different routes of escape during their at home learning time. These books will be used for used for years to come!
