These past few years have been challenging in the world of education. My third grade students have not had a "normal" year of learning since they were in kindergarten. Therefore, these students have lost out on some critical years of learning, both academically and socially/emotionally. Now that we are back in school learning "closer to normal", students need to develop social and emotional skills, as well as close any gaps in learning. More than ever before, there are many students who need to "wiggle" or move to help them stay focused while listening and working. Fidget tools will allow my students to learn through kinesthetic and tactile methods. The addition to some extra wobble seats and fidgets will greatly benefit the students in my classroom. Additionally, as we are trying to "close the gap" on lost learning, every minute of instruction time is critical. Seat Sacks would allow for students to quickly grab what is needed for the next lesson or activity, without wasting any transition time to locate materials elsewhere. With the addition of these items to my classroom, I truly believe that these amazing third grade students will be provided the best learning opportunity possible!
