These books will help to increase the classroom library and give students a variety of reading tools. By having books that are on different levels, it will help the students to build up their reading fluency and comprehension levels and also experience different types of fiction and non-fiction books. Having a variety of books on different topics and subjects will give students an opportunity to broaden their horizons and learn about things that they may not be able to experience in their everyday lives. I have taken the time to pick books that are on different levels to assist my students as their reading and comprehension skills grow. When students go to select books for their independent reading time, they will have a more diverse selection of books to choose from.
