These resources will impact my classroom in an incredible way. As a new teacher in CCSD, I am eager to jump into the classroom and begin educating students. My teachers did all they could to support and guide me - now it is my turn. I will be taking over a class mid semester. This is intimidating and joyous at the same time. I understand the impact Covid has had on students across the United States, but even more so on the students at the school that I will be working at. Only 16% of students in the entire school are able to read at a grade 2 or above. These items will assist me in addressing the gaps that COVID shutdowns caused. I aim to use the iPad in my daily lessons to for in-person and distance students. Since I am a new teacher - I also ask for help to start a classroom library as well with basic classroom supplies to benefit my class. Thank you so much for your consideration. R.L5.10 R.I 5. 10
