My students will learn basic concepts and vocabulary including directional positional words, shapes, colors, foods, feelings, body parts, animals and clothing. These are concepts and vocabulary that are foundational to the academic curriculum and immediately translate to learning in the classroom and successful communication at home and in the community. Students will incorporate physical movement in learning to increase complexity, motivate engagement, encourage turn-taking and teamwork and reward participation. Students will learn to listen attentively then think about each lesson before being ready to demonstrate their knowledge. Learning can be fun!
