The answer to the question, "Which subject is your least favorite?" for most of my students is English Language Arts. When asked "Why?", their response was because "reading is boring". Those words hurt my heart so much! After getting to know my students I have found, their biggest issue with reading isn't that it is boring, it is they haven't found books that interest them. So, I interviewed each student to find out what interest them the most and the books chosen are the ones that fit their criteria the most!
