My Prek-5 elementary students are in much need of PE equipment. PE is vital not only for physical fitness but also for their social and emotional learning. Due to COVID restrictions, we need to be able to give each child a ball to practice their skills. We need inside equipment to be able to socially distance and not have lots of time waiting in line for a turn. The items will boost our sad PE equipment that was not used during the pandemic and we will be able to ensure that PE classes are fun and engaging. Allowing everyone to develop not only their physical skills but social skills as well that were impacted so much during the pandemic. Kids were stuck home with little interaction or playing with other children and this has impacted the way they play with each other. The equipment will help nurture these skills and help close the social development gap that we are seeing every day.
