I am a brand new teacher and have happily contributed many of my own resources to my classroom. I had a vision of a fresh, bright and cheery room. I have mostly accomplished my goal. I have learned quickly that 1st graders thrive on routine and structure. My current rug does not provide the right amount of structure needed for my kiddos to feel confident in their space. I would love a rug that is clear cut and allows my students to easily remember where to sit. As an added bonus, the rug I chose gives a lot of educational support with numbers and letters too!
