For many years these students have had outdated equipment, tools, and overall training. In the past 5 years the school has seen an interest from 15 players who dedicate themselves to playing to a recent 60 kids who are interested in playing. A team that works hard deserves to be rewarded for their labors. Despite the large growing interest in the sport due to team’s success, the school district can only provide so much and for certain things. The equipment and tools requested here will be to ensure these kids will be able to maximize top of the line coaching with decent training gear that will accelerate a sports dream that seems like can only be attainable in dreams. Equipment will be used to improve their performance physically with great agility equipment, ball handling equipment, and provide equipment that will keep them warm during games. I’m not asking for the moon by requesting stadium jackets or practice jerseys, i’m hoping to do that fundraising with the boys and my friends, but these kids have worked hard to deserve tools that befit their level of skill. 2 undefeated seasons in the last 3 years and only 2 players could afford their own soccer ball. It’s time these kids have equipment to match their championship level playing.
