The students in my class are great at working together and helping each other out. But throughout the school day, they often say things like "I don't know" or "I can't do it" or "This is too hard". Teaching my students the power of a growth mindset, is teaching them a skill that they will be able to use for the rest of their lives. My project will provide books for our classroom library that encourage a growth mindset and the power of "Not Yet". My hope is that my students can learn to strive in my 1st grade classroom by having an "I can do this" attitude!
