My 4th grade students came into the 4th grade with skills that are equivalent to the middle of second grade. My objective is to create an environment where the students can fill in their learning gaps and can achieve on grade level success. In order to be successful, I need to have enough materials to support all of my 36 students needs. Anything that they can hold and continue to write will increase their skills. They have been learning from home, and are missing pencil on paper skills. Now that they are in person, we need to support their learning types.
