These materials will allow the children to use hands-on materials (sanitized between uses) to enhance their phonemic awareness and phonics skills in fun centers! I will be able to do mini lessons on these standards and then send students to various centers around the room instead of paper/pencil seat work. Student engagement skyrockets when they have something tangible to hold and manipulate! Due to distancing and cleaning protocols, an increase in centers/stations are needed in a typical classroom. Due to the cost and small pieces of the center materials, they will be used in class and not sent home.

About my class
