Gifted students are naturally curious. Their outside-the-box thinking requires a hand-on approach in order to enhance depth in learning. Due to the pandemic, these students missed important opportunities to engage critical thinking skills. These gifted students now have a chance to apply their ingenuity to build life-long creative and analytical skills. In fact, they will hone the science and engineering practice-1 which is Asking Questions and Defining Problems with the Art Forgery Kit and the Building Air Rockets kit. Imagine the questions that will arise from crafting and launching rockets. They will also address SEP-3 which is Planning and Carrying Out Investigations with the Document Forgery Kit and the Rubber Band Racer kit.
