As a first year teacher there are many supplies that my students need that I simply don't have. One of them being that I have almost no library available to students. This project would help me start building my classroom library with books that I chose based off of my students interests and levels. Right now, my students are taking trips to the school library often, making it a distraction and a loss of valuable reading time. We are also in need of playground equipment due to the prohibition of sharing playground and other materials with other classes. This project will also cover for materials essential to teaching English Language Arts by providing interactive notebooks that will boosts the understanding of my students.
