I'm very excited to be returning back to teaching Kindergarten. Our classroom has brightly colored tables and chairs but no place to house a little person's prized possessions. With COVID restrictions still in effect in many schools and having to maintain a safe distance of 3 feet per student, providing each student with their own chair pocket would aid in eliminating multiple students touching common school supplies. Adding an over the chair durable pocket will provide each Kindergarten student with their own individual place to house their school supplies and daily papers. Chair pockets will also help to promote a safer classroom environment by keeping traditional work bins and pencil boxes up off the floor, therefore; eliminating the tripping hazards of clutter. When a classroom can be less cluttered, it has a ripple effect on the learning within that setting. The students know where their materials are located and there's less anxiety of having their belongings in one neat place versus in multiple places or on the floor.
