These games overall cover all 5th grade ELA and Math standards as well as SEL standards while covering foundational skills from earlier grade levels to help students catch up and build upon grade level skills. Students learn so much when they don't realize they're learning! Students will play games both on their own and in small groups or with a partner. For single player games, students will work on standards in both Math and ELA where they need support. Working in a small group or with a partner, students will get the opportunity to work on ELA and Math skills while also developing social skills, like team work, cooperation, and sportsmanship. These activities would take place during group rotations, when students are receiving intervention support and enrichment.
