The students will get an opportunity to learn and practice ball striking skills by playing wiffle ball and pickle ball lead up games. The students will be enjoying the equipment outside and will have direct instruction as well as small group practice time. We will be using the bats and wiffle balls to practice batting off tees in small groups to maximize student participation. We will use the paddles, tennis balls and wiffle balls to practice ball control. Students will be using the tennis balls and paddles to practice volleying the tennis ball against a wall. They will be using the wiffle balls and paddles to begin learning the basic skills of pickle by hitting the ball over a net back and forth with a partner. These lessons will cumulate with an end the year wiffle ball and pickle ball tournament. This will be a school wide highlight for this year and many more to come. Thank you for considering our project.
