These materials for second language learners will be used to support their vocabulary acquisition and help them understand concepts and skills in various content areas. As we chunk lessons with the books and expose students to content area material with visual support using Brainpop, they will attain information that was taught in previous years. Having this exposure to academic vocabulary and content, with support, will help these middle school students greatly. Every student will benefit from the consistent use of these materials that will be presented in a scaffolded manor.

About my class
