Creating a safe learning environment is of paramount importance. Help create a safe, welcoming classroom. Making sure that kids are safe, and feel safe is the first step to teaching and learning. If a student doesn't feel safe and welcome, they surely will not be able to effectively participate in the learning taking place. Affective factors are just as important as curricular goals, assessment, and outreach. Please help transform my classroom to a place where students feel welcomed, loved, needed, and appreciated.
