Students have been impacted personally and academically by COVID. They especially struggled in the area of writing, so a primary focus of the Motivation Station are lessons addressing Nevada Academic Content Standards W.6.10, W.7.10, and W.8.10- Write routinely over extended time frames (time for research, reflection, and revision) and shorter time frames (a single sitting or a day or two) for a range of discipline-specific tasks, purposes, and audiences. Students will be invited to rejuvenate, become inspired, and restore personal peace by reading and writing in our classroom Motivation Station.
