In our school, many of my students struggle with reading. I want to give them reading resources to choose from as they have no local library available. These new books will give my students a variety of materials that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. This would fulfill standard (CCR.R.10). The shelving is needed to design a library space in our room. I hope to have the area comfortable enough that students will want to read and will have books to take home for independent practice reading.
