Many of my students have never experienced getting lost in a book or being moved by a book. Many of them do not like to read because they have never found a book that drew them in and was impossible to put down. I want to create a class library that students flock to, a place where they can get lost in the magic of a book. I learned to love to read because my mom modeled that love for me, but many of my students haven't had that opportunity, the love of reading wasn't instilled in them at an early age. My goal is to instill that love in them now when they need it the most. Being a teenager is hard and finding a book that you can connect with makes it a little bit easier.
