My students are hardworking and eager to learn. This year we are using Canvas as a online educational platform in which all of my students work is completed in. This means we are on our Chromebook constantly throughout the day. We are in desperate need of a recharging station that allows students to safety store their Chromebook and recharge them. The charging station will allow students to get on and work on their devices to do Ka hoot, quizzes, and adapted math programs for them in Xtramath, Khan Academy or Prodigy. Since distant learning I have a large, wide range of learners who need remedial help with their math facts, regrouping, carrying over, and understanding place value. Using online technology allows me to have them working on programs that are gear for their own independent level of learning. Computers in the Room: I would like to impower my students to take charge of being responsible with charging their computers at the end of the day and have a secure place for them to do this in the classroom. At this time we are trying to use the extension cords and all the plugs around the room. It causes cords to be everywhere.
