What do you do when a student forgets their pencil? You give them a pencil. What do you do when a student forgets to charge their Chromebook? You give them a power bank. Except, I don't have any. Students frequently ask to sit by the wall to charge their device, except I only have two outlets, and it's very disruptive to classroom learning to have them isolated from their partners and the rest of the class. I want to be able to loan them a power bank so their Chromebook battery won't die during my class, and they can continue learning. Ideally, it would restore at least 30% of their battery in about a 30-minute period. Technology is well-integrated into my courses, and I don't want any of my students unable to participate.
