These resources will help to building foundational skills in literacy and mathematics. Students need to have firm foundation before they can be readers and fluent with math skills. These are some of the many standards that these resources would address. ELA.1.1.a, ELA.1.2, ELA.1.3,ELA.1.4, ELA.1. Math.1.OA.A.1, Math.1.OA.B3, Math.1.OA.B4, Math.1.OA.C.5, Math.1.NBT.A.1, Math.1.NBT.B.2, Math.1.NBT.C.4 These supplies, manipulatives, books, and activities will help my students master adding and subtracting. The number sense the students need is 20 through 120 and the games I have picked will guide these students not only to gain the knowledge of the standards that need to be met but they will bridge a gap they are not aware of that exist. Through the pandemic, hand on learning was minimal. This created a gap in my students building concrete understanding of number sense. These math resources will fill this need. Also I have many students who English is their second language, and these materials will greatly benefit them. On the spectrum of ELA, my students can succeed using the tools you are offering to comprehend their letter and sounds, their blending of digraphs, and their understanding of first, middle, and last consonants.
