These art supplies will give the students the opportunity to use materials that we would not have because of their price. They will be able to experience painting on a quality surface, such as canvas. This will elevate the quality and longevity of their artwork. We will be able to create a collaborative light fixture project with Shrink Film. The air dry clay is a great sculpture material because a kiln is not currently accessible. Using high quality materials will give students a sense of importance and increased confidence in their artmaking skills. My students have gone for a long period of time without art, so they deserve to be able to practice with different media to experiment and grow.
