These books will transform our classroom library from an outdated and tattered one. Many of the current books are well below the student's Lexile level and do not interest the students. Would you please help my students learning by providing culturally relevant and fun literature? This will greatly my English learners and students with disabilities as many are interested in anime and manga. These books will also contribute to their social-emotional health since they will see characters like them. I know that they will be excited to read during Empowered Reading instead of pretending to sleep.
