If my project is funded, we will be able to support endless Nevada Academic Content Standards. Some examples are 4.NBT.A.1-3 with our new graph paper and pencils. Our whiteboards and dry-erase markers will support engagement in numerous math activities and standards, including 4.MD.A.3 and 4.NF.A.1-2. By organizing student supplies in a new rolling cart, they can take ownership of their own materials and keeping them tidy and in good condition. My students' social emotional health and wellness will be supported after the challenges of the pandemic's virtual year with new flexible seating options in the classroom as well as exciting outdoor activities. SS.4.14 will be supported if my project is funded by allowing students to print out Nevada symbols, mottoes, and slogans in color as part of writing projects, utilizing standards W.4.2 and W.4.2b, not to mention the instant engagement boost students get knowing their final projects will be printed in color for all to see.
