All of our school's students have to share the few water bottle filling stations positioned throughout the school and do so within the five minutes allotted to them to get from one class to another. That means that many of my students arrive at my classroom thirsty. I have a separate office for my yearbook team attached to my main classroom, and in it is a sink. I'd like to provide fresh water to my students during class without them having to leave the classroom. All they will have to do is step into the next room, grab a cup, fill it with purified water, and return to their seats. Instead of being gone for 5-10 minutes, they will be gone for 10-20 seconds. The students will be more engaged and less likely to miss key information. Because they are not thirsty, they will also be less distracted and happier in class.
