My classroom is kind of like my Breakfast Club. I’ve got kids with all different personalities, and they show up for all different reasons. Some for early for breakfast, or lunch, or just for a safe place to land. Sometimes they need to talk a mile a minute. Sometimes they need quiet. Sometimes they just want to sit with friends and feel normal. It’s a cozy, welcoming studio where you don’t have to be “an art kid” to belong. We practice real skills like drawing, painting, design, and problem-solving. The bigger goal is building confidence. The students who swear they “aren’t artistic” often surprise themselves most. There is something for everyone, from paper and pencil to computers and lasers. Messy, digital, a bit chaotic. There is a place for everyone
