These calculators will help my students in various ways. It will enhance students' learning in the classroom. These calculators will allow students to be able to thrive in project based learning activities and enrichment activities that push students to apply concepts they are learning beyond the classroom in more complex real life scenarios. Calculators will help students with the various math methods involved. Calculators are also a great tool and strategy for students to check their work. Once students solve problems, they can use a calculator to check their answer. This helps determine if they need to look back at their work to determine what went wrong or if they have mastered the problem and can move on. This project will also help increase cross curricular learning. They can be used in helping students to calculate travel routes on maps in early America, or even trade routes. In Science, students will use various math methods in order calculate gravitational pull, speed, and measurements, just to name a few. These activities will help students to see how math is integrated into other subjects and enhance its importance.
