The primary purpose for me using the stand, is to walk around the classroom in order to keep my students actively engaged. I will connect my laptop to my whiteboard and be able to teach my lessons from any position in my classroom, using the rolling desk. The stools will help us utilize our space, because they are easy to store under tables and allow the students more space to feel comfortable in their learning environment. I am wanting to have the freedom and the space to walk around my classroom to better serve my 37 learners without having to stand at the front of the classroom for the duration of each lesson. The students love their time to join me at our kidney table for small-groups. I meet with a small-group 4 separate times throughout the school day. The stools will allow the students to feel more comfort at our small-group table, as well as provide more space for the other students, that are independently working.
