It will allow them to destress/be more comfortable and they will be more focused on the learning. Some of the students struggle with ADHD or being hyperactive and by providing them a space where they can focus on the lessons while still releasing their anxieties and energy. Each item I picked was to keep in mind each of my 31 students and their different needs. These items will be used in my calming corner where students can escape for a minute to self regulate their emotions and come back to the lesson ready to learn and in a a better mind space than they were before their left.
