My students and I will utilize the materials we received to encourage continued learning. The supplies from this project (like pencils, notebooks, and the pencil sharpener) will be used on a daily basis. The students at this school sometimes worry about where their next meal comes from so having these materials provided takes the worry off of supplies for learning too. The students use their notebooks on a daily basis to create notes to help them remember the processes we learn for our math concepts. The students ask on a daily basis for pencils to write with and because most pencils are unsharpened or they use pencils for their calculations, the pencil sharpener will come in handy. The electric pencil sharpener will work so much better than the manual hand pencil sharpener that doesn't really work.
