After school I give students opportunities to excel in their personal life. I do my best to use my personal experiences having graduated from university, started my own business, and being involved in the music industry to demonstrate to my students that anything is possible with the right amount of support, education, and work ethic. Therefore, I give them opportunities after school like Music Production Club and Success Street. These clubs give students opportunities for personal growth that will allow them to be better prepared for their aspiring future. At this high school, there was a musician who ended up becoming very successful and famous, Dizzy Wright. His success inspires current students in the school who want to pursue music as a career. Through Music Production Club, students will be given guidance on how to advance in a career of doing music since I have experience in the music industry as well, and they will learn how to be independent by learning production skills. With support by someone experienced and having the tools necessary to move forward, they will be able to advance their dreams and aspirations to turn them into realistic goals. Success Street is a club for students who struggle in school, but still want to succeed in life once they graduate. These are students who are not in higher level classes and do not have much support at home for them to figure out a plan for their future, or even figure out what they're truly interested in or what they're good at. This club allows students to explore different areas of study to see where their interests and skills lie. Students are pushed, guided and given support to ensure that they have a path that they can follow post-high school.

About my class
