These materials are not typically used in the other classrooms in our school, so they will be new, exciting, and engaging for students. Student engagement and interest is crucial to successful learning! These materials not only support the development and practice of gross and fine motor skills, critical thinking skills are expanded and applied in different ways. These materials can be used by individual students, or with pairs or small groups--an added benefit of practicing interpersonal and self-regulation skills. The variety of learning materials in this project will also expand and enhance lesson development to better meet standards for learning.
