These resources will fulfill the COVID-related learning need in my class because they will allow a flexible learning environment. During independent work times, my students want to use the computer not only at a desk or table but as well as on the floor laying down. I have noticed that my students perform better when there is less distraction by them. I have come to realize that due to their extreme behaviors and sometimes the inability to sit still for a while, being able to move around and complete work is essential. The more comfortable my students are the better they perform. The laptop will be used for a student to complete assignments and for their entertainment in a safer environment. Students will be safer and cleaner in their own space. COVID has heightened the already escalated behaviors in the classroom. So providing a space where they can have a healthy distance is great.
