I am requesting class literature set and digital resources from Teachers Pay Teachers. My students are part of the Virtual Independent Study Program. That means they are learning from home, using their Chromebook through live Zoom instruction. Most of my students have compromised immune systems and are of low socioeconomic status. Therefore, access to reading materials and quality books doesn’t come easy as they don’t have the option of purchasing books nor risking their health at a public library. With hard copies or a class set of books, my students will all be able to take part in a class read together. My students need the experience of reading, examining and deepening their understanding of literature through text from directly in their hands. Additionally, digital resources from Teachers Pay Teachers correspond to the literature we’re reading as a class, would allow my students to practice and demonstrate their understating and assess their learning of the text.
