We have about ten books now that can be checked out and taken home. The books I’m requesting will probably stay in the classroom though. The children have rarely and autonomous selection of what to read. As an urban school and a poor teacher, it’s a benefit for us to get this funded and have the students read books that are in their interest. My students are so amazing and need a love of reading, especially at this age. These materials will give my students a chance for autonomous reading.

About my class
