I am teaching Principles of IT, and currently, we are covering Graphics. I think the best way for students to understand the materials is by doing practical work. Therefore, I like to assign real-life projects. At the moment, my students are creating Halloween posters using an online design program. I will print the best ones, hang posters on the wall, and reward students with snacks. They work very hard and put in a lot of effort. Giving them small rewards/snacks will also encourage them to perform even better next time.
