Many of my students are facing some gaps in their learning due to the school closures, one of the many impacts COVID 19 has had on our community. Students having access to the requested materials will ensure that they are actively learning in a fun, engaging, and meaningful way, which in turn will assist in the retention of knowledge and their future success. My students will use these resources daily during our educational math and literacy center time. Center time is when I am able to tailor and differentiate learning for my students, ensuring that I am meeting them where they are. Many of the resources requested are games that will assist in letter names/sounds which lay the foundational work for being a successful reader. Other items such as the markers and books will be used during center time/free time as well. Lastly, I asked for organizational carts and storage carts to help our classroom make these materials assessible and organized. Thank you in advance for your consideration in donating to our class!
