My students come to school each day without the basic materials to be successful. Teaching and expanding their minds would be so much easier with a few basic supplies. Calculators and pencils in Pre-Algebra are a must to teach problem solving. Many students don't know their basic facts but are capable of doing so much more especially if they can get past trying to count on their fingers and toes. I want to teach problem solving and real world examples without the fear of making simple mistakes. Please help me achieve this goal. Thank you!
